CAMELLIA STURM

1. What was the job for and who cast it?

The audition was a commercial for Fred Meyer, a local grocery store here in the Pacific Northwest. It was cast by Lori Lewis with Free Spirit Casting.

2. What 101 tools did you use in the audition?

The 101 tool I used in the audition was the slate tool and remembering to ask myself, how can I help? how can I serve? Also, when I left the audition, I left all of it in the room and did not become hung up on my "performance" or perception of how I thought I did.

3. What 101 tools did you use in the callback?

I did not have a callback, I was booked on the first audition!

4. What 101 tools did you use on set?

On set, I remembered to enjoy the notes giving to me by the director, and evaluated myself at the end of the day on both service and creativity.

5. What's one thing you'll keep and one thing you'll leave behind?

One thing I will keep- my slate and my improv in the audition. They had me tossing a beach ball with another actor and interacting with a few other actors in our staged barbecue scene.
One thing I will leave behind- in all honesty, I was very happy with how this audition went. One thing I would like to work further on though is my slate technique and improving on being able to see that happy, inviting stranger behind the window instead of the camera :)
